My Values

My values are very important to me and have a huge influence on my life and who I will work with - to be really happy in a positions I need to satisfy all four of these values.

Resourcefulness

It is important to me to use as many of my skills as possible to bring about novel and effective solutions to simple and complex challenges.

Likewise, I like my colleagues to be resourceful - out of many ideas comes the best resolutions to overcome challenges and an innovative, exciting way forward.

Fairness

I will fight for the marginalized, the quiet talent, the low grades to have the same access and opportunities to develop themselves as others.

An environment where opportunities, initiatives, praise (and blame) is apportioned fairly leads to an engaged and enthusiastic workforce who will go that extra mile for the organisation.

Creativity

The importance of “bringing everything to the table” for consideration before choosing the best way forward. This doesn't mean going for the wackiest solution presented, nor the one with all of the whistles and bells and shiny things; it means having a true choice of engaging, effective options for the best way forward.

Environments which are not creative soon become stale and ineffective and inefficient - change should be the new "norm" (and the changes don't need to be big changes, just effective ones).

Helpfulness

The only way forward is to help each other wherever and whenever we can – and it’s nice to do!
