Consultant in E-Learning - Welsh Women's Aid

Adapting all face-to-face training in violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence into e-learning and blended learning.
Mentoring and teaching WWA staff, who are new to e-learning and are moving all their teaching online in response to the pandemic.

This resulted in:

A training workforce confident and proactive in e-learning theory and development and comfortable presenting learning and development programmes online

Conceiving, designing and development of training resources for Chief Executives and very senior staff in addressing violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence, its effects on the workplace and supporting survivors. Developed for the Welsh Government

Transfusion Integration Manager - King's Health Partners

Getting the fantastic transfusion services in two huge, busy hospital trusts to align their practices and work together.
It's not a take-over, it's not a "consolidation", it's not imposing the practices of one on the other - it's working as One Team, it's sharing tasks / approaches / workloads / challenges, it's looking outwards, it's making life better for our colleagues and for patients
This position was an 18-month fixed-term contract.

This resulted in:

Shared induction process across all four hospitals for small department

Introduction of first complete set of functional competencies for Transfusion Practitioners which are now spreading across the country

Introduction of shared Mandatory Transfusion Training across all sites for 10,000+ staff leading to portable training for staff moving between trusts

A brand new national conference (TP2020) for Transfusion Practitioners - the first devoted completely to TPs and their interests

Leading on the strategy and development of soft skills, digital learning, and mandatory training (including appraisals) in partnership with staff, managers, directors, and staff side in 90+ sites across the UK.

introduction of Human Factors into Health, Safety and Wellbeing training to reduce accidents and improve reporting
