TP2020 A New National Conference for TPs

On 29th January, 2020 we hosted a new national conference for Transfusion Practitioners - the first devoted solely to TPs and their interests, in the Great Hall of King's College, London.

Almost 100 TPs gathered from all over the country - almost a quarter of the entire national workforce for a fascinating day looking at the development of the role since it was introduced an 2002, the legals aspects of the role and the way forward for the profession.

It was such a success that planning for the next conference began the following day.
