TP Competencies

We've managed to define the very complicated, wide-ranging role of the Transfusion Practitioner. It took 65 functional competencies to cover all aspects of the role including; clinical, communication, professional, strategy, management, audit and emotional effort.

This means that we can now develop training resources, define when people go "above and beyond" in their work, design qualifications and apply to have the important role recognised as a recognised healthcare profession.

We are very pleased with them! :)
